E-COMMERCE MARKETPLACE MANAGER

BISSELL is looking for an E-commerce Marketplace Manager to further continue the growth and to elevate and strengthen the tactical and operational expertise in the e-commerce domain.
The E-commerce Marketplace manager will be responsible for growing and optimizing the strategic local Amazon accounts. BISSELL is in the process of extending the Amazon network across Europe. The E-commerce Marketplace Manager will work closely with all local Amazon teams and the Pan-EU Amazon Vendor Services for developing a sustainable and solid business-strategy with a focus on product-launches, smart deal-program and price/margin stability across the Amazon countries.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for setting up a new European strategy for setting up local marketplaces. He/she will be part of the international sales team as the acting Marketplace Manager for Europe, the role includes commercial as well as operational targets.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

        • Build a strong relationship with the local Amazon account teams for business planning and optimization.
        • Liaise with the rest of the sales team to ensure seamless digital BISSELL experiences across channels and countries; gain and share insights into the on-line propositions of other key retailers/e-tailers.
        • Oversee and manage the e-commerce activities across the relevant regions, to optimize the local Amazon business
        • Working in conjunction with the regions, ensure the appropriate content is available and set up online.
        • Schedule and lead regular communications with the regional points of contact to ensure timely progress is being made and plans are on track.
        • Lead portfolio and price management; plan and activate promotional activities and calendars.
        • Manage third party agencies to run SEO, retargeting, translations and web development

PROFILE

What you bring to the table

        • Degree minimum: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or E-commerce related field
        • Experience level: 5 years+ in an e-commerce environment; solid experience with Amazon is a must
        • Extensive knowledge of marketplace success factors to meet sales and financial targets,
        • Understanding of the international e-commerce marketplaces, mobile experiences and key success factors
        • Experienced in dealings with key e-commerce players, Amazon and pure players across Europe

BISSELL Skill Set

        • Thinking in processes and experience with process optimization, especially for back-end processes regarding e-commerce fulfillment, service and financials
        • Implementation knowledge of e-commerce add-ons like ratings, reviews, and more
        • Working in complex, international environments with remote teams on multiple locations across different time zones
        • A hands-on, team player who can deal with a lot of freedom and give the team space to create innovative frameworks so that results are achieved.
