SENIOR INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS MGR INTERNATIONAL

The Senior International Operations manager is responsible for serving our customers by the right delivery service. This function oversees sales order management, outsourced inbound transport, warehousing and outbound transportation both for our B2B and B2C channel. The Senior International Operations manager effectively liaises between sales, the fulfillment partner(s) and leads the customer service team.

The Senior International Operations manager drives fulfillment at the right service level (versus SLA) and owns the logistics budget. Together with the sales organization the right service is defined and balanced with the cost to serve. The Senior International Operations manager plays a leading role in enabling the new fulfillment services for B2C eCommerce and retail deliveries.

Responsibilities of the Senior International Operations manager include:

  • Daily management of the European fulfillment operations
  • Oversee international operations in Asia, Middle east
  • Establish and maintain the strategic relation with the fulfillment execution partners
  • Improve and innovate operations

Key KPI’s for this role are the customer service performance – reliability and speed - as well as cost-to-serve and inventory accuracy.

Communication in this role is predominantly in English.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily management of the European fulfillment operations
    • Drive excellent execution in the European fulfillment team
    • Serve as escalation point for operational issues
    • People management for the fulfillment team
  • Oversee international operations in Asia, Middle east
    • Set and deploy operational standards
    • Monitor and improve international operational performance
  • Establish and maintain the strategic relation with the fulfillment execution partners
    • Support sourcing and partner management for logistics partners
    • Oversee MBR / QBR process and drive execution of partner road-maps
  • Improve and innovate operations
    • Drive performance management and review activities
    • Feed the innovation road-map and drive execution
    • Drive continuous improvement activities

PROFILE

What you bring to the table

  • Master’s degree with 10 years of professional experience, specialized in Customer Service
  • 10+ Years plus hands-on experience in international supply chain operations (FMCG – Electronics)
  • Excellent management and communication skills
  • (Logistics) sourcing and partner management
  • Experience ERP-systems for order management, inventory management and logistics
  • (Senior)management communication in English. Dutch is a plus.
  • FMCG and / or Consumer Goods experience
